Day 1 Hanoi arrival

  • Xin chao! Welcome to Hanoi, Vietnam.You are greeted by your guide and driver at Noi Bai International airport for your transfer to the hotel. (check in after 14:00)
  • Hanoi, one of Asia’s most enchanting cities, full of culture, history and the engaging contradictions of a rapidly developing and deeply traditional society.
  • Lunch in Indian restaurant
  • In the afternoon, you will visit Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh President Palace, Ho Chi Minh mausoleum (from outside), Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilt and One Pillar Pagoda.
  • Drive to Hanoi Center, explore the lively Old Quarter of Hanoiand visit Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son temple. This bustling heart of Hanoi has been a commercial centre since King Ly Thai To built his palace there in the 11th century. Skilled craftsmen started to migrate and artisan guilds were formed on the famous "36 Streets". Previously, each street carried the name of the item produced and sold there, and many still have the same names. This is a place you must see to experience Hanoi, where you will find shopping and cultural/historical sites all wrapped into one.
  • Close your day by atteanding a wonderful performance of Water Puppet Show.

Day 2 Hanoi Halong Bay

  • Breakfast at hotel before heading out to Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • In Ha Long you will board your luxury boat for an overnight cruise amongst the more than 3,000 limestone islands rising majestically out of the turquoise bay. You pass grand rock formations and quaint fishing towns, and sample a delicious local lunch of freshly caught fish and seafood.
  • In the afternoon, you can choose from several interesting activities: a cooking demonstration with chef on board, an optional traditional massage, or a refreshing swim.
  • End the day with a spectacular local set-menu gastronomic dinner
  • Overnight on board.

Day 3 Halong bay - Hanoi

  • Start the day with calming Tai Chi, often accompanied by an amazing sunrise and the quiet breath-taking beauty of the bay’s landscape. The cruise passes beautiful spots such as Trong, Trinh Nu and the Me Cung Caves, and you will have a chance to explore Sur
  • prise Cave before having local buffet brunch on board.
  • Back at the dock, where you will be met and transferred back to Hanoi.
  • Following is Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam.
  • Later on, we will visit Tran Quoc Pagoda in West Lake.
  • Dinner in Indian restaurant
  • Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 4 Hanoi- Ho Chi Minh City by flight- city tour

  • This morning, early check out hotel.
  • Heading to Noi Bai international airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City. (suggest flight VN225 @0900-1110 or VN227 @1000-1210)
  • Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat international airport, local guide pick up and transfer to have lunch at lndian  restaurant.
  • Dinner in Indian restaurant
  • Afternoon, you will visit the Reunification Palace, the home and workplace of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War.
  • Next to the cathedral stands the Saigon Post Office, a classic French colonial structure, is still a functioning post office today and features huge ceilings, a giant portrait of Uncle Ho, and many beautiful details.
  • Following is War Remnant Museum, contains countless artefacts and photographs graphically representing the war and its devastating impacts.
  • Final visit of the day is to Ben Thanh Market – an icon of the city, stands in the center of District 1. Packed to the rafters with everything from fruits to nuts, from tourist kitsch to true bargains, it is a definite must-see.
  • Dinner in Indian restaurant
  • Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 5 Mekong Delta (My Tho) one day

  • Depart from the southern economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City to the area referred to locally as ‘the rice bowl of Vietnam’.
  • Upon arrival, you will board your local boat for a cruise among the aptly named Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle and Phoenix Islands. En-route, visit a small factory producing handicrafts made of coconut and Turtle Island, where a stop will be made in a tropical orchard to taste some exotic fruit.
  • Lunch in local restaurant.
  • Then take a ride on a horse cart along country roads to a famed garden for a honey tasting. Continue on a smaller rowing boat for a more adventurous ride through the Xep Canal which is set amongst a forest of palm trees.
  • Back to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon.
  • Dinner in Indian restaurant
  • Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 6 Cu Chi Tunnels- Ho Chi Minh City ? Siem Riep by flight

  • After breakfast, check out hotel then head out toCu Chi Tunnels - an elaborate underground network of 250 km of tunnels and chambers below the city. They were the location of several military campaigns during the war. After an introductory video, viewing various mantraps, the remains of an American tank and numerous bomb craters, you will explore the maze of tunnels to see how the Viet Cong survived in this underground network.
  • Lunch at Indian restaurant before transfer to airport for flight to Siem Reap (Cambodia) (suggest flight VN813 @1625-1730)
  • You are greeted by our guide and driver at Siem Reap airport for your transfer to hotel for check in.
  • Dinner in Indian restaurant.
  • Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 7 Siem Reap tour

  • Wake up early, have breakfast at the hotel and head out with your cameras for a day filled with amazing sights and experiences. Visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom, surrounded by an 8m high wall. Angkor Thom was the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. Continue to Bayon Temple in the exact centre of the city. This 12th century masterpiece is a study in grandeur, its exterior gallery walls featuring extensive, superb bas-reliefs, particularly the East and South Galleries.
  • In Angkor Thom you will see the fabulous Bayon Temple, Baphuon, the royal enclosure, and the Terraces of the Elephants and the Leper King.
  • Lunch in Indian restaurant
  • Continue to Ta Prohm Temple, unlike most other Angkor temples, has been left just it was when rediscovered: a photogenic and atmospheric maze of trees growing out of temple ruins amidst jungle surroundings, making it one of Angkor's most popular temples with visitors.
  • In the afternoon you will visit the famous Angkor Wat, viewing the wonderful bas-relief carvings, and the reflection of main towers in the moat. Sunset at Angkkor Wat.

  • Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 8 : Siem Reap tour

  • In the morning, check out and you will head out to Chong Kneas “floating village”. Take a boat and cruise through this floating settlement seeing a floating school, farms, houses and many more curiosities. Greeted by waves of the friendly locals, here you can glimpse Cambodia’s lakeside culture and traditional family lifestyle.
  • Next is the Crocodile Farm where you can see hundreds of crocodiles of various sizes and dispositions. You can feed them (at extra costs) and purchase products made from crocodile skin there.
  • Lunch in lndian restaurant.
  • Afternoon, head out to quiet Beng Mealea, around 65 km from Siem Reap. After a short walk through dense jungle, you'll feel like an explorer when entering the completely overgrown temple. Undiscovered for centuries, Beng Mealea has only recently been made accessible and remains unrestored. It is one of the very few temples that actually give the opportunity to climb through it, giving a very 'Indian Jones' feel to the experience.
  • Dinner in Indian restaurant
  • Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 9 Departure

  • This morning is free time at your own until you transfer to the airport for your flight onwards. (check out before 12:00)
